Michael Santipadri, D.C. graduated from the New York Chiropractic College in 2003. He is a second generation chiropractor and admits to having always had a fascination for chiropractic since he was a young boy. Michael's pre-chiropractic coursework was completed at Monroe Community College and Florida Atlantic University where he played NCAA Division 1 soccer.
Prior to moving into the Boston area, Michael completed his internship in Buffalo and treated the Buffalo Gladiators, a semi-professional football team. Dr. Santipadri has been practicing in the Back Bay since October 2004. He has treated a vast array of individuals from professional and elite athletes to local and professional actors, actresses, dancers, and musicians.
Doctor Santipadri is a certified ART (active release technique) practitioner as well as a Graston Technique practitioner.
“ART and/or Graston technique along with therapeutic exercise and chiropractic adjustments allow for a very powerful therapeutic combination.”
When not at work, Michael enjoys spending time with his 3 daughters Josefina, Sofia and Stella.
Our unique blending of therapeutic techniques are offered in an effort to unwind the body’s stress-adaptive patterns, thus facilitating proper structure, balanced mobility and improved nervous system function. See below for a brief description of the timed treatments offered:
20 minute visit (the tune-up): This session is intended for the pain-free patient to receive what matters most, the chiropractic adjustment. A limited amount of soft-tissue work and stretching is added with the intent of enhancing the adjustment. This visit is not intended for a patient who is following up with the chiropractor for treatment of a painful condition (see 40 or 60 minute visit). - $60
40 minute visit (the follow-up): This session is a follow-up visit designed with the intent to deliver chiropractic adjustments to the spine and extremities (if needed) to restore joint function along with time spent with combined soft tissue work, stretching and homework for self-management. The goals in mind are stated above. This is the most utilized session and the preferred visit for a high-quality doctor-patient interaction. -$100
60 minute visit (new patient visit or long-time-away re-evaluation): This visit is for the new patient and doctor to perform a history and exam or for an existing patient who has not been into the office to re-visit the history and exam and for the doctor to thoroughly evaluate and deliver an intensive and wholistic treatment. Adjustments will likely be performed along with soft tissue work, stretching, follow-up recommendations and homework for self-care. $150
